Reston Collections in the Special  Collections Research Center

George Mason University Libraries preserve and maintain more than thirty archival collections, which pertain to Reston, Virginia, and other planned communities. The collections contain materials which mainly cover the period 1960 to 2010 and document Reston from creation to recent developments. Each collection uniquely represents its creator’s background, career, experiences, and interests. The collections are housed in the University Libraries’ Special Collections Research Center in Fenwick Library.
