Description

David A. Edwards moved to Reston in 1967, where he has participated in community-related activities for over forty years. His professional career was in city and regional planning. He was employed in the Fairfax County government and the private sector, first as an administrator in the Office of Economic Development and later as an official at Washington Gas. This collection contains materials from both his professional career and his involvement in Reston community activities. The collection also contains correspondence, reports, news clippings, budgets, and papers from the Reston Board of Commerce and Reston Chamber of Commerce, as well as documents pertaining to planning in the Dulles corridor. Collection comprises 2.75 linear feet; 6 boxes.
